I am a graphic designer and I enjoy bringing ideas and concepts to life.

I graduated from the University of Oregon with a magazine journalism degree and a multimedia design minor. After UO, I had a design and photography internship with Willamette Week newspaper in Portland, and after a few years of doing graphic design with the Portland Tribune and Community Newspapers, I moved to New York where I was the design intern at Rolling Stone. While there, I designed department pages that appeared each issue, and I helped develop the 100 Greatest Artists iPad app. I was also trained in the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite. That internship completed my graphic design certificate through Pacific Northwest College of Art.

One of my main interests is sports, be it playing, watching, officiating or coaching. By combining my interest in sports with my expertise in graphic design and photography, I created and published a magazine called Sports Oregon, which highlighted college and professional sports in the state.

For the last few years I have designed and produced wall calendars featuring my photography–Portland landmarks in 2010 and '11, and Alaska in '12.
